We love eating breakfast out and often order our old standby, eggs, sausage, and fried potatoes. We kept with tradition and ordered the Battlefield Breakfast. To say the least we were disappointed. The potatoes were soft, not crispy as we asked, and lacked flavor. The sausage was even less flavorful and reminded us of a ground meat patty. Absolutely no seasoning, even sage. The eggs were perfectly cooked and I regretted not ordering toast (extra charge) to sop up the yolk. They were the only good thing on the plate. I liked the restaurant's interior and outdoor seating. The service was friendly and good. When I told the waitress we were not impressed with the food she handled the complaint gracefully. Thank goodness people have different likes and dislikes or it'd be a boring world. We enjoyed trying this place out, you should too. You may love it.

We ate lunch outside and it was very nice. Beautiful day! I had the chicken salad minus the onions and it was amazing, as was the chicken soup. But the best was the brownie type of dessert made from a purple yam. It was truly perfect! And the two ladies that we conversed with were kind, patient, and delightful. One was our waitress and not sure the title of the other woman, but both were great. Will return for sure.

Probably the best brunch in this area of Chesapeake. Awesome drink selection and the food menu is big. Food is good, nothing out of this world but still delicious. We go here 1-2x a month when I'm home.

Had breakfast at the Stockpot while visiting family in Virginia. Service was great, we were sat immediately. Our waitress, Tori, answered all of our questions and made good recommendations. I appreciated the variety in the menu. Biscuits and gravy and the salmon and grits were probably our favorites. The mimosa flights were a nice addition, but we found the flavors to be a little too sweet for us.

I was very pleasantly surprised by a recent stop at the Stockpot Chesapeake. It is a casual welcoming little restaurant located just off the Chesapeake expressway. The interior was clean, comfortable and inviting. As soon as we walked in the door the smells coming from the kitchen area made my mouth water. The menu offers a variety of selections which would please almost everyone including those who are vegan or need gluten free. When we finally decided, our food was hot and delicious. Everyone must try their fresh made biscuits and their ramen bowls are huge. They offer craft beers, Mimosa flights and desserts that looked amazing but we were too full to try them. Their prices are competitive and a real value considering the quality of the food and the service was top notch. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. I highly recommend Stockpot Chesapeake
